What does a reversed 50mm lens do? Making things look bigger. A.k.a macro, for you fancy word lovers. Never tried it before, so I thought I'd give it a shot. No, I don't have an adapter ring or anything. I just stick the reversed lens to the FM2 and held them together with my left hand, after setting the aperture to f/2. Focusing? I simply moved closer or further. Was quite surprised about what this cheap 50/1.8 can deliver... the sharpness is just wicked, if you don't shake. Not sure about how it affected metering, since I only made a mistake in a single frame (a bit overexposed), metering-wise. Judging from these results, as long as you shot stationary objects, the method proved to be nice.

Yep, that's a shake in the last frame. Though my friend said it made it kinda... artsy. Well, how about making it an artsy wallpaper? Since we're gonna edit it anyway, no one cares if I change the color, rite?

Dunno how in that frame the water got so... blue. It didn't look like that in reality. It's kinda neat.


....No, we didn't fish in that. That would be the ultimate child's play.

Also brought the digital with me. Mostly shot the nice looking clouds for stocks. ;p



There wouldn't be school until February 16th... got to find something to do... hmm.
